Already registered?

If you haven't logged in since 25 August 2026

  1. Reset your password. Go to the login screen, enter your email address and select the forgot password option.

  2. Follow the prompts to reset your multi-factor authentication (MFA). Need help? Watch our MFA help video.

Tip: If you already have a smartMonday account listed in your authenticator app remove it before adding a new one.

This is a one-time requirement to keep your account secure. Once you set this up you can sign in using a passkey or your email, password and six digit code from your authenticator.

Setting up multi-factor authentication (MFA)

Multi-factor authentication (MFA) helps protect your account by adding an extra layer of security. When you sign in with your password, you'll also be asked to enter a one-time verification code from your authenticator app.

Once you've set up MFA, you can create a passkey on supported devices, making future logins even easier.

Watch our step-by-step video guide to setting up MFA, creating a passkey and troubleshooting common issues.

How to set up multi-factor authentication (MFA)

Step 1: Sign in

Open the smartMonday log in page and enter your email and password.

Step 2: Download an authenticator app

If you don't already have one, download an authenticator app from your device's app store. Some popular examples include Microsoft Authenticator, Google Authenticator or Apple Passwords (for iOS 18 or later).

Step 3: (Option A)

Add smartMonday to your authenticator app via QR scan

Open your authenticator app, tap + or Add to connect your smartMonday account.

Tip: If you already have a smartMonday account listed remove it before proceeding.

Next using the QR scanner in your authenticator (not your phone camera) scan the QR code displayed on the smartMonday screen.

If you can't scan the QR code,  select the option to set up manually (see option B below).

Step 3: (Option B)

Add smartMonday to your authenticator app manually

Copy the set up key displayed on the smartMonday screen. In your authenticator app, tap + or Add account and select Enter a setup key. Paste in the set up key, name the account smartMonday, then tap Add.

Step 4: Enter your verification code

Enter the six-digit code generated by your authenticator app into the smartMonday screen and click continue to complete your MFA setup.

Next time you log in you’ll just need your email, password and the six digit code. Or you can follow step 5 below to set up a passkey and make it even easier.

Step 5: Create a passkey (optional)

If your device supports it, you can create a passkey after MFA has been set up.

A passkey lets you sign in using your device's built-in security, such as Face ID, your fingerprint or your PIN, instead of entering your password and authentication code each time you log in.

All you need to do is click create a passkey and follow the prompts on your device.

I was told to contact the team to set up my account. Why can't I do it online?

This usually means we don't have a mobile number or email address on file for you, so we can't send you a verification code. Our team can verify your identity another way and get your contact details added so you can access your account.

Finding your account

Why do you need my name and date of birth?

We use these to find your member record and confirm you're the right person. The details need to match what's on file with us exactly.

My details aren't being recognised, what should I check?

A few things to try:

  • Make sure you're using the name we have on file (for example, a legal name rather than a nickname, or a previous surname)
  • Double-check your date of birth is entered correctly (DD/MM/YYYY). If you've recently changed your name, contact us to update your details first.
