Managing your super is about to get even easier with smartMonday's biometric-enabled app.

Managing your super is about to get even easier.

We'll soon be launching the new smartMonday app, along with a simpler, more secure way to sign in. You’ll also have the option to set up a passkey, making future logins even easier.

Once the app is ready, the next time you log into your online account you'll be asked to set up your multi-factor authentication (MFA) again.

There will be guided steps to help you along the way but we’ll also provide access to a step-by-step login guide and video tutorial to help you through the process.

We’ll let you know when the app and improved sign-in process is available. For now, you don’t have to do anything.

What you’ll need to do

  1. Remove your smartMonday account from your authenticator app

  2. Follow the prompts to reconnect your account to your authenticator app (we’ll guide you through every step)

  3. Choose whether you’d like to set up a passkey for faster, more secure sign in (without authenticator codes every time)

  4. Download the new smartMonday app

You’ll then be able to use the same secure login for the app and your online account.

What’s good about the app

With the new smartMonday app you can:

  • check your balance at a glance

  • track your investments and transactions

  • get alerts when contributions are received

  • update your details anytime

  • access smartCoaching and virtual health benefits

  • manage your super wherever you are

Why the change to MFA?

We know your super should be easy to access when you need it, without compromising on security. That’s why we’re upgrading the way multi-factor authentication works and introducing passkeys.

This upcoming upgrade strengthens your account security while also allowing you to use the same login details to access your online account and the new app.

With passkeys, signing in is quicker and more secure. On supported devices, you can use Face ID, your fingerprint or your device PIN instead of entering a code each time.

Your super is one of your most important long-term investments, so protecting your account remains a priority. These updates help keep your account secure while making everyday access simpler.

FAQs

Do I need to set up a passkey every time I log in?
No. You set up your passkey once, and on most devices it carries across automatically to your other phones, tablets or computers signed in to the same Apple or Google account. After that, you just sign in with Face ID, your fingerprint or your device PIN.

What if my device doesn’t support Face ID or fingerprint login?
If your phone isn’t biometrics enabled, you can still use a passkey with your device PIN. If your device has no PIN or security lock set up, passkeys cannot be used. If you need help signing in, our team is here to help.

Can I still access my account through my browser?
Yes. Your new login works across both the smartMonday app and your online account, so you can choose whichever works best for you.
